David Krahl*
David Krahl was born in Eberbach am Neckar. In 2016, he began studying vocal pedagogy at the Wiesbaden Music Academy, graduating with honors in 2020. He then joined the master's program in opera at the Opera School of the HMDK Stuttgart, where he is currently studying in the class of Prof. Ulrike Sonntag. He won 2nd prize in the Stuttgart 2022 Lions Club Competition and is a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium. Highlights of his work as a singer and actor so far include his engagements at the International May Festival at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden in 2018 and 2022. Further guest engagements took him to the Theater Koblenz and the WilhelmaTheater Stuttgart. In October 2021, he was given the privilege of representing the state of Baden-Württemberg musically with a delegation at the EXPO in Dubai. In addition to his work as a singer and actor, David Krahl works as a choral conductor as well as voice coach and sings in several choirs and ensembles, such as the Opera Choir Wiesbaden or the collegium vocale Wiesbaden, which is primarily dedicated to early music. He performed in the baroque operas Rappresentazione di Anima et di Corpo by Cavalieri and Henry Purcell's The Fairy Queen
