Paula Skorupa

Paula Skorupa was born in Dresden. She studied drama from 2010 to 2014 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, during which time she had guest engagements at the Berlin Volksbühne and Schauspiel Frankfurt. In 2013, she was awarded with the second sponsorship prize at the 42nd National Singing Competition in Berlin. Following her studies, she was engaged at the Schauspiel Frankfurt studio between 2014 and 2016. She subsequently joined the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe ensembles for one season respectively. Skorupa became part of the Schauspiel Stuttgart ensemble in the 2018/19 season, and works regularly as a voice actor. She has worked with directors including Thorleifur Örn Arnasson, Laura Linnenbaum, Ulrich Rasche, Calixto Bieito, Tina Lanik, Achim Freyer, Oliver Frljić and Robert Icke.
