Dead Centre
The British-Irish theater collective Dead Centre centering the director and writer duo Ben Kidd and Bush Moukarzel was founded in 2012 and has since realized several international theater projects a. o. in Dublin, Gothenburg, and Vienna. The collective often usees historical figures or events to serve as starting point for their productions. Thus, they created Alles, was der Film ist, an evening at the Burgtheater in Vienna about the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, as well as Die Traumdeutung from Sigmund Freud and lastly the production Katharsis. Their works interweave fact and fiction using a range of multimedial tools.
