Klaus von Heydenaber

Klaus von Heydenaber was born in Braunschweig in 1982 and studied music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. During his many years of collaboration with Viktor Bodó, he has composed incidental music for numerous productions, including at Schauspielhaus Graz, the Hamburger Schauspielhaus, the Theater Basel and the Staatstheater Mainz, as well as at the Vig Theater and the Katonatheater in Budapest. He directed his own work in Graz in 2014: in Herzbetrunken (Heart-Drunk), he set 15 poems by Joachim Ringelnatz to music for two actors. Heydenaber has led his own jazz orchestra since 2013, for which he sometimes composes. After Bodó's production of The Exterminating Angel in the 2020/21 season, he is now working for the second time at Schauspiel Stuttgart for Fabian or Going to the Dogs.
