Anne Weber studied French and comparative literature in Paris, and works as a writer and translator. She has translated works by writers including Birgit Vanderbeke, Sybille Lewitscharoff and Wilhelm Genazino into French, and Marguerite Duras und Cécile Wajsbrot into German. Her novel Kirio was shortlisted for the Leipzig Book Fair Prize. In 2020, she won the German Book Prize for Annette: An Epic Heroine.
