Karsten Dahlem

Karsten Dahlem, born in 1975, initially completed his acting studies at the Folkwang University of the Arts with subsequent engagements at the Volkstheater in Vienna, Volkstheater in Munich, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, the Berliner Schaubühne, and the Maxim Gorki Theater. He has also worked as a theater director at the theaters in Oberhausen and Bremen, the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, and the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Karsten Dahlem is also a screenwriter and film director. He directed films like Freier Fall and Die Geschichte einer Familie. Dot and Anton by Erich Kästner is his first production at Schauspiel Stuttgart.
