Vince Varga
Since 2010, Vince Varga has developed light installations, media design and visual concepts for theatre, opera, dance and concert productions.
With director Viktor Bodó, he worked at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg, the Volkstheater Wien, the Schauspiel Stuttgart, the Vígszínház Budapest, and the Örkény Theatre Budapest. He has also designed media with director Kriszta Székely at the Teatro Stabile di Torino, the Katona József Theatre Budapest and the Hungarian State Opera. As a director, he premiered Samu Gryllus's opera Hostage Opera at the Musiktheatertage Wien.
His latest independent light installation work is The torches, an adaptation of Bartók's Cantata Profana in the concert hall of the Kodály Centre Pécs.
