Mignon Mangel
Björn Klein
Mignon Mangel was born in North Rhine-Westphalia in 1998. From 2016 to 2019, she trained as a musical theatre performer at the Musical Arts Academy of the Performing Arts. From 2020 to 2024, she completed a bachelor’s degree in theatre and musicology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
Alongside her studies, she observed, assisted, and performed in productions at local municipal theatres as well as at the Staatstheater Mainz and the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden. During her studies, she also developed her own theatre projects.
In 2024, Mignon held a permanent position as assistant director at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, where she worked with directors including Bernd Mottl and Ingo Kerkhof. Since the 2024/25 season, she has been a permanent assistant director at Schauspiel Stuttgart, assisting directors including Lucia Bihler, Mateja Meded, Daniela Löffner, Wilke Weermann, Dušan David Pařízek, and Karsten Dahlem.
