Ena Kurtalić

Ena Kurtalić is a movement director, choreographer, actress and performer. She completed her acting training at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo. Furthermore, Kurtalić received additional training in the field of movement with a Master's degree at the Academy for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television in Ljubljana. She worked as a movement director on many plays, including Snow (directed by Dino Mustafić at the National Theatre in Sarajevo), The Idiot (directed by Selma Spahić at the National Theatre in Sarajevo), Trainspotting (directed by Lajla Kaikčija at the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica). Kurtalić attended workshops with renowned choreographers (Matthew Bourne, Wim Vandeykeybus, Iztok Kovač, Jan Fabre, Maja Delak) and clown and mask workshops (Lecoq Technique). Ena Kurtalić is currently working with Via Negativa, an international platform for research, development and production of performing arts. She is a guest lecturer at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo.
