Hanna Erös

Hanna Erős was born in 1999 in Budapest. Before beginning her university studies, she spent a month in South Korea in August 2018, working as an assistant alongside international visual artists at the Geumgang Nature Art Biennale.
In 2021, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Set Design from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, and in 2023 she completed her Master’s degree in the same field at the same institution. During her university years, she spent one semester at the Art Academy of Latvia in Riga, where she gained insight into Latvian theatre and scenography practices. In 2025, she obtained her Master’s degree in Visual Arts Education.
In 2023, she participated in the student exhibition of the Prague Quadrennial. Since graduating, she has been working as a set and costume designer both in repertory theatres and in the alternative theatre scene. She has also gained experience in feature and short film productions as a production designer and as a member of the art department. As a designer, she has collaborated with directors such as Attila Béres, Viktor Bodó, Bálint Antal, and Klaudia Gardenö.
