Lina Determann / Jette Schwabe
Lina Determann and Jette Schwabe are an interdisciplinary artist duo working at the intersection of theatre, film, and installation. In their collaborative practice, they explore social and feminist issues through narrative formats shaped by pop-cultural aesthetics and everyday references. By deliberately negotiating documentary precision and performative estrangement, they construct worlds that exist between reality and fiction. Concrete spaces are woven into a shared storytelling framework.
In 2026, they completed their diploma in scenography with distinction at the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. They now work as a scenography duo within the independent arts scene.
Their works have been presented at the Brechtfestival in Augsburg, the Gwangju Media Arts Festival in South Korea, the Badisches Staatstheater, and the IFA Gallery in Berlin. In April 2026, they are invited as Artists in Residence at the “3 Tage Frei” festival at Theater Rampe in Stuttgart.
