The never-ending story

A new world often emerges from a single, shining grain of sand. Bastian Balthazar Bux also has this wonderful experience. He is a true book lover who loves to escape reality with the help of stories. When he once again escapes his troubled everyday life and accidentally ends up in the theatre, he discovers a book whose cover is adorned with two intertwined snakes – a symbol of two worlds that cannot exist without each other. Bastian soon wanders through the marvelous world of Fantastica: a land without borders, threatened by an eerie „Nothing“ that devours everything. The brave Atreyu, his horse Artax and the luckdragon Falkor are given the dangerous task of helping the terminally ill Childlike Empress. They have to hurry to find a human child who can give her a new name and thus prevent the imminent downfall of Fantastica. Is there any help for all the rock chewers, Shlamoofs, racing snails, will-o'-the-wisps and the ancient Morla? And what are the werewolf Gmork and the giant spider Ygramul up to?
