Maja Mirković

Maja Mirković was born in 1977 in Sabac, Serbia. She studied costume design at the Faculty of Applied Arts Belgrade under Professor Milanka Berberovic, graduating in 2001. She went on to complete an MA in scenography and costume design. Mirković designs costumes for theatre, film, television and advertising, as well as for concerts and music videos. In addition to her work as a costume designer, she has published poetry and articles on the theory of performing arts in trade magazines. Mirković has participated in several exhibitions as an artist, and has worked at the Aarhus Theater, the Slovenian National Theater, the Yugoslav Drama Theater, and many others in Belgrade.
