Noah Baraa Meskina

Born in 1995, Noah Baraa Meskina grew up in Aleppo. He worked as a journalist in Syria, covering both the theatre and the Syrian Revolution. Before coming to Germany, he lived in Turkey for three years, working as an interpreter and tourist guide in Istanbul while studying economics. He began studying drama at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin in 2018, and has received the Hans Böckler Stipend since then. The production Incendies in the 2021/22 season was the first production of Meskina's permanent engagement at Schauspiel Stuttgart.
