The Belle Vue

Only the hotel is called „The Belle Vue“. The views are certainly not that pretty. Neither on the hotel nor on the morbid society which inhabits it. Money is lacking all around - in the business and among the "illustrious" guests. Ada, Baroness von Stetten, is the only one who has too much and entertains the whole shebang. She buys her pleasure, her frenzy, her sexual cravings and her lovers. One after the other. Strasser, hotel owner and former officer and bon vivant, Max, a waiter with connections to the criminal milieu, Karl, a chauffeur with a dark past ... all of them appear as sleazy actors in this embarrassing melodrama of the rich baroness who puts up with them. Joining them is the wine merchant and fascist Müller, who is trying to collect money he has lent Strasser, and finally Ada's twin brother Emanuel, Baron von Stetten, who gambled down his fortune and is being pursued by creditors. However, his sister cares little as long as the glasses are full and the gentlemen remain obedient. Christine is now caught up in this hustle and bustle. Nine months ago, she already stayed at the hotel. Her visit had consequences. She now confronts Strasser, who denies the paternity of her child and persuades the other men to come up with an ingenious plan. Yet the scheme is a complete failure as Christine is not as desperate and needy as Strasser thought.
