Krawall & Katharsis

“Krawall” means uproar and commotion, while “Katharsis” means liberation or catharsis. This is the framework within which the format operates, yet at the same time it defiantly defies any framework. For here, the stage belongs entirely to the assistant directors, dramaturgs, set designers, and costume designers. On the green steps of the chamber foyer, there are no limits to the artistic freedom of the theater’s next generation—everything is possible, nothing is mandatory.
