Fascism, conformism and violence shaped her life. Yet Hannah Arendt does not give up on the world; she wants to understand it. The production explores this incorruptible thinker based on her own letters and writings, as well as on Jelinek’s play Totenauberg, which examines Arendt’s formative relationship with Martin Heidegger. The production takes place at various locations within the Schauspielhaus.
