What do you do when a terminal illness strikes? Goldie, a middle-aged woman, decides to tackle some home renovations. In the midst of her spirited yet stubborn struggle to survive, Goldie’s father bursts onto the scene with the vigour of a second spring: newly in love, Tony is on his way to the seaside with his new partner Vivian and a campervan, when a visit to his daughter turns out to be an unexpectedly life-changing encounter.
A production by Thorsten Lensing in co-production with the Berliner Festspiele, the Wiener Festwochen, the Schauspiel Stuttgart, Les Théâtres de la Ville Luxembourg, Kampnagel Internationale Kulturfabrik Hamburg, the Asphalt Festival Düsseldorf, the Kurtheater Baden, and the Theater im Pumpenhaus Münster.
