Therese Dörr

Therese Dörr was born in Westphalia. After studying at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre, she worked at Theatre Münster and the Kassel State Theatre. In 2008, she joined the Schauspiel Essen ensemble, before becoming an ensemble member at Schauspielhaus Bochum in 2010, where she stayed for eight years. She has worked with directors including Stephan Kimmig, Roger Vontobel, Lisa Nielebock, David Bösch, Burkhard C. Kosminski, Eric de Vroedt, Paul Koek, Jan Neumann, Anselm Weber, Viktor Bodó and Schirin Khodadadian. In 2018, she had a guest engagement at the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. Dörr became a permanent ensemble member at Schauspiel Stuttgart in the 2018/19 season.
