Für seine Arbeit in Places and Things wurde Tom Gibbons mit einem Olivier Award für das Beste Sound Design 2016 ausgezeichnet. Mit A View From the Bridge (2015) und Hamlet (2018) war er ebenfalls für einen Olivier Award für das beste Sound Design nominiert.
